Hello from the PAAC Executive!

The key priorities of the Postgraduate Administrators Advisory Committee are Recognition and appreciation (of U of T’s amazing PA’s!), growth and development (for all those in postgraduate medical education) and strengthening partnerships (between sites, hospitals and program PA’s).

Recent activities
We had an amazing time and were very pleased with the turn out for our Annual
PAAC PA appreciation event held in May. Thank you to everyone who attended, and we hope to see you and those unable to make it at next year’s event.

Thank you to Dr. Laura Stratton for presenting on LGBTQ2S+ and Allyship at our last PA Information Series session of the academic year held on June 15, 2023.

These information sessions are held every 4-6 weeks and are for all postgraduate program administrators across U of T. Topics vary from inclusivity and diversity, to CaRMS prep to general tips and tricks. Sessions for next year are being planned now, please watch your email for more information.

Upcoming events
While we wind down for the summer months, PAAC will be holding a meet and greet at Queen’s Park in later August. Keep an eye out for an email from PGME Events with more information.

PAAC is currently recruiting for new members! We are looking for new and experienced Program Administrators to join the Postgraduate Administrators Advisory Committee, a subcommittee of PGMEAC. We are looking for administrators who are highly motived, skilled and have an interest in supporting the program administrator community.
