The Online Electives System provides a centralized method for residency trainees to register and gain approval for their elective rotations with the University of Toronto. This system is intended for non-University of Toronto residency trainees that hold Canadian citizenship or Permanent residency status in Canada. In order to be registered with the PGME Office, there are specific requirements that must be met by all elective applicants (home school & supervisor approvals, CMPA, CPSO, immunization, etc.). If you are assisting an incoming elective applicant, these requirements are available for your reference in the Elective Applicants section of this website.
If you are a Program Administrator/Coordinator for one of the University of Toronto’s accredited residency training programs, you may be granted access to Online Elective System.
