The Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) Office is in the process of reviewing all PGME policies/guidelines and has identified twelve that will be reviewed/updated this year, e.g., the Wellness Guidelines for Postgraduate Trainees and the Postgraduate Trainee Health and Safety Guidelines. Certain PGME policies/guidelines will potentially be augmented so that they are also applicable to undergraduate medical students e.g., the Guideline for Managing Disclosures about Learner Mistreatment. Updated policies/guidelines and an updated webpage are expected in early 2024. Beginning in 2025, the PGME Office will implement a regular four-year policy/guideline review schedule that aligns with the accreditation cycle.
