New Learner CND/PR Registration - April 16 - June 30

April 16 - June 30, 2025 Training Start Date 

COMPLETE IMMEDIATELY (upon receiving e-mail from PGME with POWER login details)

• Login to the POWER registration system
• Sign your issued electronic Letter of Appointment (LOA)
• Sign up for Payroll (if Resident)

DECEMBER (4 months before start date)

• Order your Level 3 Vulnerable Sector Screen (VSS/VSC) Police Record Check 
• Begin completing your immunization and mask fit requirements
• Begin completing the 9 Mandatory Hospital Health and Safety Policy Modules 

JANUARY (3 months before start date) 

• Begin the registration process with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

FEBRUARY (2 months before start date) 

• Begin the registration process with Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)

19 MARCH 2025 at 12:00pm (noon) 

• DEADLINE: Submit Immunization Record and Mask Fit documents 

26 MARCH 2025 at 12:00 (noon) ET

• DEADLINE: Complete the 7 Internal Hospital Health and Safety Policy Modules and submit the 2 external Hospital Health and Safety Policy Modules

2 APRIL 2025 at 12:00 (noon) ET

• DEADLINE: Submit or provide proof of your Level 3 Vulnerable Sector Screen (VSS/VSC) Police Record. If CMPA and/or CPSO outstanding provide CMPA statement of Coverage and/or CPSO Certificate of licensure

7 APRIL 2025 at 12:00 (noon) ET

• DEADLINE:  Pay Registration Fee (after all the above steps are completed)

REGISTRATION COMPLETED 

• Print confirmation of Registration
