Resources & Supports - Current Learners
We recognize that transferring programs (and potentially institutions) is a large decision - the Office of Learner Affairs can help. We encourage all residents requesting to transfer to meet with the Acting Director or Assistant Director Postgraduate Learner Affairs; meetings are confidential.
Any residents wishing to discuss career options can also meet with the Director or Assistant Director of the Career Advising System, and the Career Counsellors (OLA career counsellors). If you are considering applying to more than five programs or transferring for a second time, we would recommend that you arrange a career advising appointment.
OLA also helps with document review and interview practice. For more information regarding these services please visit their website.
PGME and OLA jointly offers two Transfer Information Webinars annually. These sessions are designed to provide an overview of the Internal & External Transfer process, followed by a Question & Answer period. Learners can submit questions anonymously.
