Caroline Abrahams, Director of Administrative Services and Strategy, PGME, is responsible for oversight of administrative services and strategy for the entirety of the PGME office. In this role, Caroline collaborates with the Vice Dean Medical Education, Associate Dean, PGME and senior administrative leadership team at PGME to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives, oversee, and address critical strategic and administrative issues, and streamline and improve administrative processes. Previously, Caroline was Director of, Policy, Analysis and Systems within PGME with responsibility for program evaluation of the learning and teaching environment, data governance and analytics, and learning management systems. She also continues her involvement in strategic policy and planning as it relates to government relations and health human resources including admissions, selection and quotas, as well as expansion and development of community sites and associated resources.
Previously, Caroline held several positions with the Ontario Ministry of Health in the Health Workforce Planning Branch, including Manager of the HHR Forecasting and Modelling Unit and Senior Consultant in the Physician Policy Unit. Caroline holds a B.A. Hons. from the University of Western Ontario and a Master in Public Administration from Queens University.
