Postgraduate Elective Training

As a postgraduate medical learner, you may apply for an elective rotation at the University of Toronto (U of T) to support your training. Elective appointments at the University of Toronto are contingent on learners being in good standing at their home institution, have a clear Vulnerable Sector Screen/Check (level 3), and meet all registration requirements in advance of their start date.

If your home institution has an Inter-Institution Affiliation Agreement (IIAA) with U of T, you may also apply to be eligible to complete required training through that agreement. IIAAs are formal arrangements between U of T and other medical schools to support rotations by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).
