The PGME Faculty Lead, Internal Reviews, provides strategic input and support for the accreditation and internal review process for PGME programs and the institution. While promoting a mindset of accreditation as a continuous process, they will organize and facilitate training to support programs through accreditation developments including Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME), accreditation standards, CanMEDS 2025, and directions or mandates from governing/regulatory bodies.
Dr. Hemen Shukla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and a Staff Family Physician at Women’s College Hospital.
