Melissa Hynes, Manager, Curriculum & Learner Assessment, PGME provides leadership and managerial oversight of curriculum and learner assessment activities that include the development of strategic priorities, business processes and best practices for curriculum implementation, and evaluation frameworks.
Melissa has been at UofT for the last 15 years in progressively responsible roles related to administration, curriculum development and learner assessment. Most recently she has been the PGME Lead for Learner Education Support where she has developed both curriculum and assessment tools to support PG programs and learners as it relates to remediation and learners in difficulty.
Melissa received her PhD in Higher Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. Her PhD focused on the intentions and perceptions of admission and selection in postgraduate medical education.
