Guide to AFC SharePoint Hub

for Program Administrator & Program Director

Accessing Your AFC Program Site

The AFC Hub Site contains all AFC programs. Each program has its own dedicated page within the hub. From the main page, select your program under “Our Programs” or using the Program option on the menu bar:

You will only be able to edit and manage your own program site by clicking on Edit on the top right-hand side.

You can only view content relevant to your role.


Understanding the Folder Structure

  • General Program Information: this folder is available to all user groups with access to the site.  It can be used to store policies, templates, and reference materials. 
  • Learner Folders: Learners upload documents directly through Learner Upload Form. The system will automatically create a folder with the learner’s First and Last Name and UTOR ID, upload their files into their folder.

Permissions and Roles

Each program site includes three standard groups:

Program Director / Program Administrator

  • Full access to:
    • Edit the site
    • Manage memberships for Competency Committee and Program Committee groups

Competency Committee Members

  • Competency Committee Members can: 
    • View learner folders
    • Access the General Program Information folder

Program Committee Members

  • Program committee members can:
    • Access the General Program Information folder
    • Cannot view learner folders

Accreditors Group

  • Managed by the Accreditation Team

Managing Access

  • PDs and PAs can add or remove users from above groups
  • There are two ways to add users: 
    • Internal Users: Use this option for individuals with a University of Toronto email address (@utoronto.ca)
    • External Users: Use this option for individuals outside of U of T
