Trainee Power Screen – Trainee Teaching Effectiveness Score(TTES) Report

University of Toronto PGME trainees can be evaluated by University of Toronto Undergrad Clerks/Medical Students, should PGME trainees train them during their rotations.  Clerks can complete teaching evaluations on PGME trainees via their Evaluation system called MedSIS. Once completed MedSIS automatically sends a copy of the teaching evaluations directly to POWER to the PGME trainee’s program which gives your Program Director access to your evaluations.

The system generates a summary of your teaching evaluations report called the Trainee Teaching Effectiveness Score (TTES) report. This report is generated provided a minimum of 3 teaching evaluations are completed in the same training session/year. Your program has the option to enable the TTES report on your POWER screen; If enabled then you will have access to the Teaching Effectiveness Score menu item on your POWER screen.  Note that an email is not sent to inform you of this report.

If you do not have enough completed evaluations in one training session, then you can use the ‘Merge All’ function to combine evaluations from past training sessions. Simply, click the Merge All option found under the Training Session drop down as shown below.
