Location Registry

The Location Registry menu option displays all the locations available to be used in the POWER system. This list is a central list that is managed by the University of Toronto’s Discovery Commons Department and is also accessible by the Faculty of Medicine’s Undergraduate Medical Education office via their Registration and Evaluation system called MedSIS. The University of Toronto’s Office of Integrated Medical Education (OIME) also has access to this database via their community preceptor payment system called T-IME.

The locations can be searched by various criteria available at the top of the screen.

Adding of a new location to the registry is done by sending an email to the PGME POWER Helpdesk. The request is sent to a group managing the database for approval. Once approved the location will be added to the registry and appear in POWER.
