How to Locate Your Trainee Number

Why this matters

Your trainee number is required to:

• Set up your Registration Document Portal profile. See Accessing the Registration Document Portal
• Access Dayforce Powerpay (if your paymaster is the Toronto Hospitals’ Postgraduate Payroll Association (THPPA))

Follow the instructions below if:

• your Letter of Appointment (LOA) shows a number longer than 9 digits. This typically occurs when learners were previously part of the University of Toronto community as a student or staff member.

AND/OR

• you cannot find your trainee number in POWER

Locating Your Trainee Number

Log into POWER

Use your PIN and password provided by us in a separate email from postgrad.med@utoronto.ca or use your UTORid if you have already activated your UTORid account.

Once you are logged in, you will see either the Initial View Page or the Welcome Page.

If you see the Initial View Page:

• From the Initial View Page you can locate your trainee number in the top right portion of the page.

If you see the Welcome Page:

• Go to the Evaluations Forms section

• Locate your trainee number on the top right of the page next to your name.
