Mireille Norris featured on Narrative Based Medicine website

Mireille Norris is an Internist and Geriatrician at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is the Medical Education Black Health Theme Lead for the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and has a passion for the arts and humanities.

Dr. Damien Noone will be leaving his role as Faculty Lead, Admissions and Transitions, Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME). Damien has accepted a position as Staff Nephrologist at Stollery Children’s Hospital and Associate Professor, University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB and will be leaving Postgraduate Medical Education as of April 2024.

Dr. Noone joined PGME as a Faculty Lead in July 2023, where he was responsible for the strategic oversight and direction of best practices in applications, admissions, selection and transitions, including promotion of and support for Temerty Medicine’s commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

We are deeply appreciative of Damien’s contributions and efforts during his time with Temerty Medicine. Please join me in congratulating Damien on his new role and wishing him well as he embarks on this journey.
